Why not not make a game about collecting balloons! save the pinguings from the evil spiderpeople who are trying to take over the world with their crablike steampowered machines.

Sometimes my mind goes racing because of a over stimulated imagination.
This happens! it is my nature
So i made the little baron , a fun little experiment to see if i could learn to build a simplistic game in a 2 week crash course. Voila It became one of the worst games ever!
But very educational to figure out how to build a game from the ground up al the way to publishing it with a build in ad system.

A steampunk crossbow design ,
model texture and animation for a first person shooter.
A good exercise in constraints!
I learned a great deal about animation rigs building this

It was quite the learning experience modelling for Poe:2 optimzed Uv mapping, handpainting textures, Lodding, creating collision meshes.
It was a kick ass experience modelling for this game mostly because of the work ethic and dedication of the team.
Model count is around 5/6k triangles
and all textures are hand painted at 1024²pixels for smaller vehicles and 1024×2048 for tanks.
The assets for this engine required creation 7 of meshes per vehicle; 4lod meshes and 3 collision, lod0 is show on the renders.
The models where animated and brought ingame by Andreas Johanssen.
The model of the uaz jeep and the texture on the At-4 are by Kimman Cheng

Poe:2 got the visual delight award and was voted best mod of 2006 by the visitors of Moddb.com
